The course runs over 270 acres of land and offers a beautiful view of the Waianae Mountains. It’s also important to note that locals and visitors are free to play this course, though tourists do pay a higher fee to visit. 

Additionally, the green offers a space for golfers of every skill level with 27 holes. The holes can be completed in different combinations to increase or decrease the course’s difficulty. The course has been operating since 1992 and is one of Honolulu’s most recommended golf clubs. 

Not to mention, the club offers some other excellent services like:

  • A driving range. The driving range hours are Friday-Tuesday 6:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday 6:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The range has been remodeled and now has comfortable lounge chairs.

The club is located in a less densely populated part of the island and is very close to some beautiful hikes. Additionally, the club is fantastic because it is open to locals and visitors for an added fee. 

In recent years the course has been redesigned, which is why it now features such pristine greens and stunning plants along the green. This course offers 18 holes and is considered relatively challenging.

4. Coral Creek Golf Course

Another fun golfing option is Coral Creek Golf Course. This course is excellent because it’s relatively inexpensive compared to other courses on this list. Additionally, the course was opened in 1999 and still provides excellent service years later. 

Coral Creek prides itself on excellent service and beautiful green. Additionally, the pricing can be slightly lower since the course isn’t a country club. However, the golf course still holds itself to a high standard and is high competition for the other courses in the area.

This club also allows visitors to play its course and offers several t-times throughout the week. This stunning club can also be a destination for work retreats or weddings. Additionally, many professional golfers have played this course. 

As with most clubs and courses in Honolulu, Kapolei is a little expensive. Golfing on the island tends to cost more than golf on the mainland. However, you can’t beat the view of a Hawaiian golf course.
